The Order of Tau Kappa Omicron Presents: 2024 Transgender Townhall

During our 2024 Transgender Town Hall we will discuss the experiences of Trans individuals in all the listed topics of discussion. We will also discuss the changes being made by our medical care providers, legal advocates, housing advocates, employers, partners, sponsors, supporters, and allies. The transgender community in Arkansas may be small, but our supporters are vast. It is necessary to build a coalition with members of the greater LGBTQ+ community, supportive families, providers, allies, friends, community leaders, businesses, faith community members and organizations. The community deeply needs resources and infrastructure, and it requires a team effort!

We will cover topics such as:

• Access to Health Insurance & Mental Health Services

• Access to Employment

• Access to Education

• Access to Housing

• Access to Safety
